Charlie Exelbirt

Charlie Exelbirt is a Licensed Real Estate Broker with over 20 years experience in business and real estate.  He has served as Director of Leasing for several developers and landlords, overseeing approximately 1,800,000 square feet of industrial, retail and office properties.  

 

Mr. Exelbirt’s leasing background includes negotiating leases national and international companies such as Xerox, URS, Biotest, Fastenal and Subway.  Additionally, Charlie has negotiated with State and Federal government agencies such as the U.S. Census Bureau and the Florida Department of Education. 

 

Mr. Exelbirt began his Commercial Real Estate Career at Cushman & Wakefield as a Sales Associate, working in the marketing and disposition of multifamily properties.  His other areas of specialties include brokerage of residential development sites and manufactured housing communities.   Charlie’s diverse background and ability to conduct business in multiple languages enables him to effectively excel and negotiate on behalf of his clients.

 

Prior to his Real Estate career, Mr. Exelbirt gained a proven track record for successfully penetrating new markets as Vice President of Sales at Mekfir International Corp. and served as Sales Manager for Unifi, Inc. in Greensboro, North Carolina and Coleshill, England.

 

Mr. Exelbirt earned his Master of Textile Management degree from the North Carolina State University and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Finance from the University of Florida.  Charlie is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Florida, and earned the Cushman & Wakefield Up & Comers Award, and is involved with local and national charitable associations.
